Hidden lake metal print by Connie Valasco. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is a hidden small lake really that was above my house in the Silverton, hills of Or. My friend was a caretaker in the summer and we would go there once in a while. Could not beleive it was just a 5min.walk from my home. The color in the original is a little different than how it comes out on photo program i use.

I started painting after visiting a mexican resturant in my town. There were such beautiful pictures on the walls that I wanted to be able to capture the beautiful places and nature of our world. I'am a self taught artisit with the help of artist friends and also the internet was a big help. Watercolor I find wonderful as it will flow although not always the way you want. I have always used my artist abilities to make my living. I was a silver and gold smith making jewelery for 20 yrs. I think this has helped me to forge on in painting and you never are complete.
