About Connie Valasco
I started painting after visiting a mexican resturant in my town. There were such beautiful pictures on the walls that I wanted to be able to capture the beautiful places and nature of our world. I'am a self taught artisit with the help of artist friends and also the internet was a big help. Watercolor I find wonderful as it will flow although not always the way you want. I have always used my artist abilities to make my living. I was a silver and gold smith making jewelery for 20 yrs. I think this has helped me to forge on in painting and you never are complete. Sarah yes i can't seem to hold on to one style. I think ok the next one will be part of a series and each one will get better. Naught the brush takes off and another one just pops out of the blue. I do like doing animals but still!
